Here are some examples of nutrition education experience I have had.

During my junior year, I was involved with a small group of dietetics students who went to CNY production radio stations in Oneonta to give small segments of nutrition advice to listeners. Here are some clips of a couple of segments that we did.

For my Nutrition Education Class, I created a display case during National Nutrition Month 2011. The theme was Eat Right With Color and my case was focused on red colored foods, with information about red colored fruits and vegetables and their health benefits.

Also during my nutrition education class, we were required to pick a topic and give both a 10 and 20 minute presentation on that topic. The topic I chose was nutrition and pregnancy and the powerpoint I used for this presentation can be found below.

During an Internship with SUNY Oneonta's office of Health Education, we put on an event in the dining hall called "Freggies." This was our school's largest salad bar ever which contained a variety of common and uncommon salad toppings. We encouraged guests to try something new and offered them advice on how to make their salads more colorful and nutritious.
